ice and/or dry ice on the intake manifoldddddddd
#1
So i was talking to a friend of mine yesterday about it. He used to do it to a v8 mustang...well i figured for kicks n giggles to try it. Well i used 1 chunk of dry ice then a small bag of ice and i let it set on the manifold for about 10 minutes on a warm engine..then i did a 0-60 run and it took off like a bat outta hell.My speedo currently doesn't work so i didn't time it etc. but i definitely felt a difference and it left a pretty skid mark..
anyone else ever try this?
4.3 tbi
full exhaust(stock headers for now though)
and some knockoff round performance filter at auto zone for 20 bucks.
total cost for 20 minutes of fun with some friends = $4 and alote of gas

Since cold air is more dense than warm/hot air, it makes sense. Just is not very practical.

Used to coil the gas line in a 3 lb. coffee can and pack it with dry ice. It does make a difference. Of course now days you can't buy a 3 lb. can of coffee :>)
