AC Delco 746KK (GM-88984265)ignition wire set is designedfor1998-2005 Blazers and cost $84.00 to $92.00 depending on where you buy them.

I used AC Delco 716B (GM-12073994)ignintion wire set designed for 1988-1991 Blazers. They cost me $45.00 andhave excellent fit and function. For some reason unknown to me, the earlier wire set is half the cost of the later ignition wire.

The AC Delcoignition wire set iscorrect for your modelanddoesnot make your engine look like it was built at a carnival.

The 1992-up 4.3L engineusesa differenttype of distributorcap than a 1988-1991 4.3L engine and it takes a different set of ignition wires. I suppose thesize and designis why the 1992-upignition wires are so much more expensive than the 1988-1991 wires.

More's Law States: Size is important.

Just bought a set of Taylor Thunder Volt 50's for $67 which boast only 50 ohms of resistance per ft @ 8.2mm. Set is also pre-made for my 4.3L (Summit Racing stock # 84235). You can also get them @ 10.4mm (made for racing).
