to the point. I created a faint rod knock tonight driving home. lady was doing 35 in a 55. So i passed her, when i floored it the trans slipped and the engine hit over 5k and now i have a rod knock. i Seriously doubt its a lifter. Ive had my time with lifters over the years. No money to replace the engine right now. Il have plenty of money for it around the 1st of sept. But it cant wait.

Best bet now is this. I can get a 350 tbi for the same cost of a 4.3 tbi. $175.00 minus brackets, etc. But i still need the efans which will be a taurus fan and the wiring kit. around 60.00. then the v8 mounts. which would be around 85 bucks. then fluids.

I'm looking at a easy 400.00 then trying to find help so i can get it in there. its only me. Everyone else i know cant even change there own oil.

I guess this is more then a rant. i dunno. Just so frustrated.
