95 Jimmy 4.3 CPI to 5.7 Edelbrock MPFI

Ive been thinking about doing this swap to my 95 Jimmy 4wd. It has a 4.3 CPI engine (the early one that looks like a tuned port injection) and I have a 97 L31 w/o the injection but I have a new Edelbrock MPFI setup for a 91 TBI truck using vortec heads. My question is, can I use a wiring harness and computer out of a 95 TBI 4.3 Jimmy/Blazer, S10 or Sonoma? Has anybody done this? I was also thinking of swapping in a NV3500 5 speed. Im not building a serious rock crawler/bogger just something that has some more ***** (and make it a bit more fun to drive) to tow a 6x12 enclosed motorcycle trailer out to some remote areas that I camp in.
