Default L35/LU3 camshaft upgrade with stock valvetrain.

So I found a website today that offers an upgraded cam for the L35/LU3 Vortec engines. They claim you can still use your stock springs and net lash rockers and. No expensive valvetrain upgrade required. Anyone heard of this place? There's no specs listed, but it makes reference to some known GM V8 cams and that specs are the same/similar. And that the exh valve lift was lowered to accommodate the stock stuff.

This roller cam features lobe profiles similar to the famed 350 ZZ3 V8 camshaft. The exhaust lobe lift was slightly reduced to allow use of the stock 4.3L valve springs and net lash rocker arms. The L35 HO cam raises the power peak from 4400 rpm to 5600 rpm. With this product you can expect gains of at least 25 horsepower on L35/LU3 engines and as much as 40 horsepower on LF6 engines. We recommend a low-back pressure cat-back exhaust system and our L35 HO engine computer recalibration for optimum performance.

Anyone heard if them? Used them? Know someone that has? Any opinions about this as a possible upgrade? Obviously I'd get exact specs before making a decision. Thanks.

Ok, so does anyone see an issue with that cam on the stock valvetrain?

So no one even has an opinion?

Anyone have any idea how much lift the stock stuff can handle before having to swap to an adjustable valvetrain? ZZ3 cam specs are as follows:

208/221 @. 050"
.474"/.510"
308/316 (advertised)
Idle: 750 rpm

And the exhaust lobe adjusted for use of stock valvetrain, which I assume means .478"-.480" instead of .510" advertised on the zz3.

They claim 25-40hp gains depending on engine(L35 or LF6)

So what do yall think? Worth it?
