I was just curious if there was an electronic overdrive in the 1998 4dr 4x4 blazer?

 

What do you mean by electronic overdrive? You have the 4L60-E transmission which was derived from the 700R4 which was a non-electronic control'd transmission. The 4L60-E has full electronic control, but the electronics still just control the shifting and fluid flows within the transmission as well as a lockup torque converter. Much else is virtually unchanged since the 700R4. Both had 4 speeds.

 

I just meant is there any kinda overdrive at all...or just the 4 speeds

 

4L60E gear ratios: 1st 3.06, 2nd 1.75, 3rd 1.00, 4th 0.70.

 

4th is OD.
