Anyone ever rebuild their powersteering pump?
The kit is considerable cheaper then a rebuilt unit from the parts store, and one of mine is due for a rebuild/replacement.
Looking for any info?

In the shop I work at, the PS pump is usually replaced b/c it takes 2x as long to rebuild as it does to replace it and costs about the same with labor. To each his own I say and do what you want to do with it, but if I had an internal problem with mine I would replace it. If it isn't giving you any major problems, Id take it off, clean it,and soak it withPSfluid then put it back on.

It works fine, just leaks. Its for my own vehicle and my time is pretty cheap compared to a shop. Swapping htem is easy, as long as you have the puller.
