Default is there a way to get great gas mileage?

is there any technology out there we can get to make our blazerrs get great gas mileage?? i commute 100 miles a day so gas is killing me

I don't think so. Wierd enough I just traded in my jetta which got 30+miles to the gallon for the Blazer

I wanted to drop a small turbo deisel into my Jeep for the same reason (along with the manly factor) That would make for some killer gas mileage, and good torque, but you would spend alot on the swap. I was looking at an Isuzu deisel.

Otherwise, it is the usual stuff. Keep up on tire pressure, tune ups, etc.

Pull into the driveway or garage, place gear selector in park, turn the key to off, walk inside and place the key in a drawer, drive the Blazer a max of twice a week.

In my case, with the raggedy gas guzzlin POS I got sittin in my driveway, that's the best formula for me to get good gas mileage
