Trany problems shifts wrong

Default Trany problems shifts wrong

i have a 1995 blazer 4 door with a 4.3 liter vortec and an auto trans and my trans has been acting weid it slips when i get in to it and when i drive it waits till the last posible sec and then it will shift. wht do you think the problem is?? i need some help.

Sounds like a pretty serious tranny issue. Don’t quote me on this but its shifts when the centrifugal force is great enough to engage the next highest gear, so maybe you have worn out that padding that engages when the centrifugal force is great enough to engage it.
I would just go to a junk yard and take a tranny off a blazer there. I find a lot of good stuff for my blazer at junk yards. So far I have gotten an alternator to replace my dead alternator and a tow hitch mount.
