Default 1986 s10 blazer engine swap info

Hello . Im looking at buying a 1986 s10 blazer 4x4 5 speed with a blown 2.8 v6 . I was wondering if there are any companys that make an adapter to bolt either a 4.3l v6 or a 350 v8 up to the stock manual transmission ? . or is the only option to swap in a different transmission with the new engine ? . thanks for any infomation

Advanced adaptors makes a plate but honestly I'd get the right trans over adding one more part to go wrong. The v6 trans in these things are weak from the factory so if you wanting to go bigger engine its a good time to put a trans in it to handle something.
