1991 blazer when hot ,no start to much gaz
i have a 1991 blazer with a 4.3l ,when the motor is cold,it work fine until it get hot, when i put the pedal to the floor,it spark but dont want to start, there's to much gaz going in when hot,i put a new coil, new cap timmer, new rotor, change the injector, change the idle sensor.the pump is working fine.what else should i do.i'm new to this site, hope i'm in the right forum, thanks
You say that you replaced the injector... Your engine is a throttle body injected engine and has two injectors. What did you replace and how did you go about replacing it? Are there any fuel leaks at the throttle body?
in the morning when i start the engine its going A1 and in about 10 minute when the engine get hot it start spraying a lot of gaz by the injector that i had to change the oil and filter, its like that everyday,in summer it was working fine but now its time to put the plow in front, thats what it does to me.sorry if i dont provied you with lot of explain, but i'm very new with that kind of motor.
The O2 sensor isn't really used until the engine reaches closed loop operation. Once it reaches closed loop operation, the O2, MAP, and TPS sensors work together to determine the fuel delivery requirements of the engine. The MAP & TPS sensors are used during open loop operation as well, but fuel demand is looked up off a predetermined table.
