1994 blazer vortec v 6
wife has a problem. blazer ran fine but won`t start. it is getting gas past the fuel filter and spark at the plug. she said it was hard start just before. think may fuel system thanks in advance steve corum
Do you have a TBI (traditional round air cleaner) or CPI (black plastic cover with orange lettered 'Vortec') engine?
I would get yourself a fuel pressure gauge and hook up to the test port on the CPI engine or install the adapter (not included in most kits) if TBI. The CPI needs 55+ psi for proper operation while the TBI needs around 15-18 psi.

As I said, 55+ is what the FSM states for both the CPI and the SCFI. You really need to get a gauge on it to check the pressure. You will also want to observe the fuel pressure after you turn the key off. If it drops, then you have a leak in the system. And for the CPI motor, this is typically the FPR.
