Have a 1995 4.3 blazer with CPI, beginning to think it is cursed..
Been nothing but a money pit since day one..
But now, have a problem that can't pinpoint and looking for any suggestions as to what it may be.
#6 misfire at idle and under acceleration
Scanner is giving p0306 code, which was already obvious as it is a dead cylinder
Have replaced plugs, wires, coil, distributor, ecm, knock sensors,
Compression seems fine
Took #6 wire off to check for spark and its showing a weak spark, have swapped wires from neighboring cylinders and even other plugs, still the same..
I know the CPI seems to be a usual culprit with misfires and also the egr valve, but my problem seems to be on the ignition side, but i cannot think of what else could cause just one cylinder to have a weak spark, have replaced everything i can think of...
Any ideas would be appreciated before i go melt this hunk of junk down..
Thanks

No idea, it's got an appointment with the local chevy dealership. Don't have the time to **** with it anymore. Will update on what problem is, if they can even figure it out! haha
