1996 Blazer coolant issue

I just bought the blazer yesterday, and I didn't have any issues driving it back to my house which was 100 miles away. But starting yesterday evening and on my way to church this morning the coolant temp gauge was going up. When I got under the hood there was coolant coming up from the engine block.
I added some coolant to it and it just started to leak from the bottom as well.
I'm getting moved to base soon and I honestly don't have any spare cash. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Alex

Check to see if there is coolant in your oil, If there is then you got yourself a problem possibly crack or warped head, or a faulty gasket. Also check the hoses for leaks or cracks, remember the coolant system is under pressure so if you get a small leak it will spray over to another area that isn't leaking but will lead you to sit and stare at it for hours (learned the hard way). If all that doesn't give you answers you can do a cylinder leakage test to see if there is air going into the coolant system (bubbles will appear in the coolant or possibly you'll hear air escaping into the oil pan(you can hear it from the oil fill tube))
