97 blazer starting issue

My 97 blazer only starts when my foot is on th gas and when I let off the the gas my truck my truck dies. Any idea wat the problem could be?

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me, like you have a weak pump.

You need to test the fuel pressure at the schrader valve.
