Default 1997 blazer 4x4

I have a 97 blazer other day I was driving heard no noises and lost all gears. I went out next morning started it up I had reverse, 1st gear, and 2 ND gear till it shifted into 3rd gear then I lost them all again. Any help would greatly be appreciated

3 to 4 clutches are gone. time for a rebuild. You could check the shift solenoid for 3-4 but most likely the clutches. This transmission has known issues with them.

check the transmission fluid also. a lot of those 9x blazers had problems with the radiator breaching between the transmission cooling and the engine cooling, causing darkening coolant and antifreeze mixing with the tranny fluid, which will cause failure when warm. I had that, and ended up replacing the tranny, the radiator, and going with an external tranny cooler instead of the combo
