Default 1998 wants to stay home????

Help!! I'm posting this for a friend so hopefully some-one will have a few ideas. The blazer starts fine and runs smooth but has no power once you put it in gear. **she thinks it's the fuel pump but I think it must be a throttle control issue???

By saying no power do you mean it moves slowly or doesnt move at all?? If it doesnt move at all i would think tranny problem, if no power when trying to take off maybe a badly clogged catalyitc conv, from the way its sounding these trucks are known for bad ones..
