Default 1999 Blazer - Blue smoke and knocking

I bought a 1999 Blazer, Vortec 4300, about a month ago, private deal. Three weeks went by and the truck started hesitating. Thought I would do a tune up of plugs and wires. Two days ago, truck started smoking. Thought it was bad gas or too much fuel. Today, engine started knocking and smoking real REAL bad. Almost no power, and knocking bad. Oil level is half way up the dipstick.

Blown piston rings? Head gasket? I need help. If I could post videos on this forum, I will post a video.

What does the oil look like, does it look milky, kinda like chocolate milk, what about your coolant level. how is that?

Oil looks quite normal. Dark brown.

You guys are evil.

Sorry, LW you likely have the Lower intake manifold gasket disaster.

Anytime oil level rises that is a very bad sign. You have coolant in your oil and it's ruining the bearings

Just wondering. Is there enough room for a small block V8? Also, will the tranny and transfer case bolt?

i believe as long as the v8 is fuel injected than it will bolt right up to ur tranny, of course ull have to fabricate some new motor mounts but any fuel injected v8 will work. someone correct me if im wrong?
