left house this mourning got on freeway and exited was sitting at light light changed and blazer won't go it just up and stopped shifting into gear no 1st or reverse nothing just up and stopped working any ideas to what it could be stranded rt now please open to any suggestions

 

I do know that reverse is purely hydraulic and doesn't use any servos or ECM inputs.

So you were cruising along with no symptoms and then sat at a light for a while and then 100% no function?

I wonder if sitting there you pumped all your fluid out or something.

Does it make weird noises when you try to put it in gear?
Does the shifter feel the same as it always has?

 

Check the fluid level. If you have fluid, smell it to see if it smelled burned.

Did you leave it in drive when at the light?
