Default timing problem

I have a 1997 blazer 4.3 i replaced the intakes because it was leaking water I forgot to mark the distrubuter when i pulled the shaft well i just put it back in and tried to start it no go. i then redid ever thing to TDC now the engine cranks but seems like something is wrong when it cranks sounds like there its off not a smooth crank is it possible that the timing chain messd up or went off time pleas help

To avoid confussion, it's best to start a new thread. Copy & paste what you have here, that's fine.

how did you set the timing? i have a 2000 blazer and the distributor must be put in correctly or it will not run.

here is a link with a diagram for timing. hope this helps
