Default 2000 Blazer fuel sputter

I have a 2000 Blazer. When I first start up the truck, it sputters like it is about to run out of gas. When I first start moving, I have to pump the gas pedal, almost like I'm priming it. It runs fine after that. Could it be the fuel filter or another minor fix?
Thanks.

Best to check fuel pressure and leakdown first. Most auto parts stores rent/sell/loan the tester. Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running, pressure must be 60psi to 66psi. It must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the pump shuts off. Post your results.
