2000 chevy blazer help

Default 2000 chevy blazer help

i have a 2000 chevy blazer 2wd. i put a cherrybomb muffler on it, i still have cats and everything, but lately it has been back firing really bad, i don't know why it would be causing it. if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. thank you

probly not enough back pressure... cherrybombs have no resistance... but on another note hows it sound otherwise i been thinkin about puttin glasspacks on mine

When was the last time you did a tune up? Are there any codes present?

FYI, back pressure being required for an engine is a myth.

I suggest also having the ignition coil tested. Thay can also be a cause of backfiring under load.

it turns out that i needed to change out the cap and rotor, but it sounds very nice actually, it doesn't have the nice rumbler that a super 40 series would, but overall it sounds very nice
