I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer 4x4 and replaced both shift solenoids and now the transmission starts off in third gear, but i can manually start it in first and shift through the first three gears no problem. how do i fix this to where it will start off in first and not third on its own.

 

What made u change the solenoids?

 

the transmission was in limp mode and the error code came up for the solenoids, after replacing them I had the code cleared.

 

Not sure, maybe drop valve body and check valves. What symptoms were you having with the trans in the first place?

 

stayed in one gear and wouldn't shift now it shifts but starts in third rather than first
