Default 2002 Chevy Blazer {THE **** BOX} Motor issue

So the other day it was snowing, (yes snowing in MAY - That's Canada for you) and I currently only have good front brakes, the back ones need replaced. So I started to slide and I was coming into an intersection that quarry trucks use a lot. Sure enough there is a semi coming into the same intersection I am sliding into. So instead of getting creamed by a 8-9 ton semi, I threw the truck into reverse while I was still moving at about 60km/h forwards.

When I finally got stopped just short of the intersection, my engine didn't wanna run proper (almost like it was running retarded [backwards]) I put the shirfter into Neutreal. the engine light was on, the check gauges light was on and the oil pressure gage was WAY down, and the tachometer was at around .2 grand (yes .2 grand, barley off the bottom) this all happened at first. then after a few minutes all the dash lights lite up for 2 mins and the dinger was going off. I shut the truck off and to my luck wouldn't restart. I waited 15 mins, and then I turned the key back and forth a few times, finally it started. It has been running fine since then.. but the transmission oil level was low (checked it with engine hot, transmission in park)

I was wondering, would me putting the transmission into reverse, basically **** my vehicle. Will there be future problems ill have to worry about?
