Security light stays on. Starts and then stalls. No dome lights or door chime. No DTCs. Did the Ignition Switch replacement, Still no change. Did the relearn...still nothing..Checked all the fuses...and still nothing. Bought it cheap(like this) its in really nice shape...just need to get it running......I've did a search and nothing seems to match my problems exactly....PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Does it (or did it) have an aftermarket security system on it? Have you tried a 30 minute battery disconnect?

Classic ignition switch or passlock failure. Does it start if you try it 5 times and then wait like 10 minutes until the security light turns off.

And yes, I too would suspect some aftermarket equipment aside from a possible bad replacement ignition switch or botched installation.

Nope, just the factory stuff...no aftermarket..( i swapped an ignition switch out of a smashed 2000, and no difference: but the one i took out of the one i'm fixing i pulled into the parts blazer and it runs...this tells me that the one i took out of my blazer is not bad and not the problem....would the cylinder key cause the same thing? a bad BCM? I could take the computer and BCM out of the running Blazer(2000, frame was too far gone to fix) and put it into my not running 2002 would this work or would it be more conflictions?

Depends on what your 2002 truck has for options and the engine controls (engine changed mid-02). You do realize that pulling parts off of another year is an iffy thing... Why not just plunk down the $50 or so and buy the proper part.
