Default 2003/1998 Swap on a 1993

So the motor in my 93 died and I got a motor cheap from a 1998 with 78k miles on it and a harness and ECM from a 2003 for free. I have found most of the plug connections, and a few I figured out that are slightly different between the 98 and 03, but then there's a few things I'm not so sure about.
First, I don't see where the 2003 harness has an EGR hookup, but the motor I have does. Would it be fine to either leave the EGR system alone, or should I delete/plug it up?
Second, the knock sensor is the 98 one wire style on it, but I want to put the 2003 two wire style in it and don't know what kind of thread adapter I may needThere's these plugs and 4 wires. I believe the blue 16 pin goes to the instrument cluster.

There's also a connector on the inside of the 93 that I believe goes to the instrument cluster

You should be able to block off the EGR valve at the mounting flange on the lower intake manifold. Are you planning on having it tuned?

To use the two wire sensor, I believe that it bolts on with a 5/16-18 bolt on the newer blocks so you'd need to make an adapter to go from the 1/4"NPT threaded hole on the back of the older blocks (at least according to my past self in THIS THREAD). Seems odd to me that it is 5/16-18 as I would have thought it would be metric...but who knows. I guess if you are converting it, all that matters is that the knock sensor is held down properly and the bolt fits through the hole in the middle of the knock sensor.

I don't see why I would need to have it tuned. There harness doesn't have EGR from what I can see.
I also don't know of any adapters for the knock sensor to go from the larger diameter sensor to the lower diameter bolt

I'm not sure what changes were made, mechanically (cam profile?) and/or electronically (in the tune) when the EGR system was removed from the 2002+ vehicles. That is why I mentioned the tune.

As to the adapter to use a 2 wire sensor on a 1 wire block, that would be on you to get made up. I didn't mean to make it sound like this was something you were going to walk into Autozone and grab off the go-fast shelf. This fabbed up adapter could be as simple as a 1/4" NPT pipe plug with an external hex that you drill & tap to the appropriate threads for the bolt you are using provided the pipe plug had a large enough flat surface on the top for the knock sensor to mount on. If you wanted to make it easy on yourself, you'd go with a brass pipe plug. Just make sure that it is solid and not hollowed out on the inside so you will have threads all the way down through the middle.
