350 Swap help

Default 350 Swap help

Suppose i were to swap my 4.3 (97 blazer) for a 350, what all will i need besides the motor and new computer?

off the top of my head. motor mount adapters different manifolds and Ypipe power steering line (maybe) in theory its a pretty straight forward swap. especially since you have a 4.3 i did one with a 4cyl in it and i had to change the trans, crossmember, and driveshaft too. just google around theres tons of v8 builds out there

sounds like maybe its to big of a project for me, prob better off buyin another car

Its really not TO bad. Just lot of time hunting down and buying parts.and you need a garage with some room

Ive got a barn to do it in, i just need a list of things to start hunting down and pricing, and ive got someone who can do it who will help me. I just need to get a good list and check to see if i can afford to, i plan on savin up money till my blazer dies then swap it
