Smile 4.3 intake water leak

I have 2002 blazer 2wd with a 4.3 I m changing the intake gasket and have alot of water in the oil. It was runing then stoped the water and oil and oilgot mixed and ran into the air filter. Is there a way to take the oil pan off with out removing the motor. My plan is to clean everything that I can replace the gaskets, and once it is runing again get an engine flush. HELP!!!!!

Since yours is 2wd, You might be able to unbolt the engine from the engine mounts and lift it up a bit, and be able to slide the oil pan out.

Thanks that's what I was going to try, any ideas on how to clean all the sludge out of everything ie: what kind of cleaner or solvent to use.

many people run seafoam through the engine. not sure you need to remove pan to drain everything fully
