4.3 problem

Default 4.3 problem

have a problem with my engine. just finished changing the cap, rotor, plug wires and installed a throttle body spacer and now the truck starts up and dies bout 30 sec later. can anyone give me some advice?

Please spend a little time reading the many, many threads concerning problems similar to yours. There are so many variables and you really didn't give us much to go on.

Just to be on the safe side pull your cap back off and make sure it has no cracks in it. Look at the cap real good, make sure there are no small cracks.

try swapping your old parts back one by one and see if the problem presists
