Default 4.3 Vortec Wont start

Hey guys new to this and heard that this site is very helpful. I have a 1994 s10 Blazer 4.3 vortec v6 and its been giving me some trouble. It Starts after a couple of days but once I gas it, than it dies as in boggs out. The fuel pressure doesn't hold and drops slow. I changed the fuel pressure regulator but still same problem. HAd gas puddles both sides were the spider lies but couldt see no drips when turn key on and looked. Can someone please help figure this out.

You mention "spider" So this is a CPI?

Search the forum for the spider injectors trouble.

The plastic lines and injectors age and tend to leak.
Probably one of the firs things to replace if they are brittle.

Sounds like a fuel pump. Test it dead-ended and note the max pressure and if it leaks down and how long it takes - then report.

Puddles of fuel under the intake definitely sounds like a leaking injection system to me. Make sure it's fuel and not oil you're mistaking though. Typically, if there is carbon buildup under the plenum and/or is a brown-ish, oil stain color, you don't have a fuel leak. Not always, but majority of the time, the gas eats through it.
