Default 4L60E fitment

I have what I believe is a 4L60E transmission from a 1994 Blazer that I want to put into a 2002 Blazer. My first question is how can I verify that what I have is truly a 4L60E? Second, can anyone verify that it will fit into the 2002? the 2002 is in very good condition other than a blow trans. I will be buying the 2002 but only if the trans will mount up.

I appreciate any help you guys, or ladies, can give.

Jeff

Sorry it won't work. You need a trans out of a 98 or newer. The internal electrics are different so you will have no way to control the trans.
