Default 4l60e problems

I have a '99 LT 4x4. I got a call from my girlfriend one day saying that the blazer wont go into reverse. I went and checked it out and sure enough it didnt go in reverse. We pushed it out of the parking spot and I jumped in it and took off home. It wont shift out of 1st until you get to 20 mph, and then it wont shift out of 2nd(or it seems like). I got up to 55 and i looked at the rpm's and they were up to almost 2500. when i pulled it in the driveway and put it in park the check engine light came on. so i checked the code and it was P0751. Shift Solenoid "A" performance of stuck off. i ordered the solenoids(i bought 2 for both solenoids just in case). I put them in, closed up the tranny and dropped the blazer off the lift, filled it up and still no reverse. as i was changing the solenoids i noticed the shafts that sit in the same hole that the solenoids go in(sorry i dont know the lingo, i dont know much about trannys). one felt like it had a spring behind it and the other one didnt, it was just laying in there. i dont know what could be the problem. i cleared the code in hope that it would pop back up again, maybe with a different code who knows. so far it hasnt popped up again but i was only driving it for about 30 mins. does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks

Don't know about the rest but its normal for one piston to have presure but not the other. I had that scare when I changed some solenoids a while back, lol, but yah its normal.

Doubt it. The Beast is the best sun shell to buy.
