We're going to need a bit more information than that..

Describe 'acts up'. When does it act up....what have you tried so far? Does it do it every time?

well I do not know what happened to the post so I will try again.
2001 Blazer 4.3 automatic with push button 4WD
going from 2 HI to 4 HI is fine.
However going back to 2 HI from 4 HI takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes whether the car is moving or not.
Any ideas?
Carl

I've had a similar problem last winter, but mine took awhile transferring from 2hi to 4 hi.
Does it do that when you're in park?

It does not matter what gear I am in or even if I am stopped in or out of gear my only problem is going from 4 HI back to 2 HI. I remember reading somewhere that there was an adjustment that might be connected with this problem but that was quite awhile ago. I have posted this to a GMC forum and have not received any replies as yet so it must be something that no one has run into very much.
