Default 4wd connector wires/pigtail replacement

So I've been having intermittent issues with my 4wd in my 2002 Blazer (occasional Service 4WD light, difficulty getting it to engage, etc).

I have the 4 button 4wd. I thought I narrowed the problem down to the switch, but upon replacing it, same problem.

Now I realize that it isn't the switch, its actually the connector itself (there are two, one controls the transfer case and one is, I believe, the lights).

If I hold the bundle of wires "just so" I can get the 4wd to work flawlessly.

I would like to replace that section of wires and the connector - but I can't seem to find the part. I have found the other connector online through various sources but not the 8-pin connector I need.

Has anyone seen this part out there, or have a part number? I'm pulling my hair out!

Why not just pull the connection apart, and fix them, there is a way to get the prongs out of the connector, and clean, make sure they are hooked up tight, and pinch them down a bit so they have a tighter connection on the switch.

Never thought about that for some reason. Thanks I'll give that a shot, see if its possible.

why not go to a junk yard and see if you can find some plugs in good shape, than cut and reconnect them into yours.
