Default 4wd question?

Novice Driver here.
My 2001 Blazer got stuck in 4lo. I tried everything to get it out. On my way to get service for my 4wd something popped. Now the engine accelerates, but there is a massive clicking noise in all gears andthe tires won't move in any gear.
I'm trying to diagnose this problem and get the cost of the fix.
Any ideas?

How fast were you driving when you experienced this "pop"?

25 mph, not to fast, but still pretty high for 4lo.
