I just had the tranny r&rd to replace the rear freeze plugs and it has operated fine for about 30 days. This morning it shifted normaly, but this afternoon it became a slip and slide from 2nd to 3rd. ,and then it refused to shift into 3rd and just overreved. 1st, 2nd, and reverse seem to be normal. I had the tranny flushed about 6 months ago ( I have been told this is not a good thing for older cars). The fluid level is correct. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

wow you gotta be ****ting me mine has been doing it for a while but i just lost 4th today i went home checked **** out and then went up town and only had 1st and 2nd reverse is fine. i have rebuilt many trans and when i do this one im doing all the solenoids to. give me a call@ 903 421 6889
