Well its been a while but I finally got another S10, this time a 2001 s10 ZR2 blazer and I love it it. My problem started the other night, I put it in 4 wheel drive but I guess it didn't fully engage and it made a grinding noise so I stop and after about 20 mins I was able to get it back in 2 wheel high. Well as always I wanted to play with it and see if I could fix it so I started the blazer up and put it in 4 wheel high but the hi and low 4 wheel drive lights would blink then go back to 2 wheel high, if I kept hitting the 4 wheel high button it would finally go in so I figured it was just gummed up so I did it about a dozen time TILL.... the hi and low lights starting blinking rapid and I can hear clicking coming from the pass side kick panal and now when I turn the car off the noise keeps clicking from the pass kick panal..what did I do?
