#5 cyl full of gas

Default #5 cyl full of gas

Im back with another problem. 95 blazer stalled and wouldent start. Checked battery and starter both ok seemed like motor was locked up. Pulled plugs and about a cup of gas came out of #5 cyl. Motor cranks fine now but keep getting gas from #5. No gas in oil. CMFI shot??? any help will be appreciated

leave plug out, get that cyl towards tdc and turn ignition to on. see if fuel come pouring out from the fuel pressure out the spark plug hole

leaking injector.. replace it. probably poppet style stuck open.

A leaking injector would fill all of the cylinders on the CPI engine given the configuration of the spider. This is likely caused by a failed fuel pressure regulator. To replace it, you have to pull the spider which means disturbing the "nut kit" (internal fuel lines) which must be replaced unless you want to be back in there again in short order.

Problem was the nut kit pressure line was leaking. Not too bad of a job. truck runs good now. thanks for the replys.
