Default 7004r to a stick shift

ive got a 1992 s10 blazer 4x4 4.3l with the 7004r trans. i tried putting a shift kit in it but it didnt come out well and now i must make the decision to either
1) completely rebuild the trans back to stock
2) buy a new trans
3)replace the trans

i recently have fallen in love with stick shifts and hate not having control of my blazer. ive looked around and cant seem to find any info on a manual 1992 s10 4x4 4.3 blazer or truck, does it exist? if so then this would be an ideal donor. if not is it realistic to put a standard in or should i just rebuild get it back to stock and get a different car thats a standard. ive built the truck from stock and love it, but lately whenever i drive it i get angry as i loose almost all torque after 45mph and 2300rpm so any idea opinions or a general response will be of help

Hello

Sorry about your 700R4, did you use one of those piece of crap shift kits from B&M if so you will have nothing but problems.
I have a 1997 s-10 blazer rebuilt engine and trans went to this site and used one of his Heavy Duty package works great I have full manual control or full automatic control.

It was a transgo kit. Directions were terrible and most of it was guesswork =\

You have both full manual and full auto? How does that work?

if you do a manual swap you will need a donor vehicle...you will need the tranny as well as electronics to transfer over.

alright well i would rather spend the money on the switch over than an automatic so ill start looking around for the donor. i can get everything from the donor but should probably get a new clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing correct?
