found easier/cheaper way to put a700r4 in my 71K5 blazer with out changing or moving transfer case. U put a output shaft in the 700r4 and a adapter to my np205 this is apx. 4inch longer. move motor forward re-drill holes in frame on motor mounts cross member , add 4 inch's to exhaust pipe ,an throttle linkage . they make a kit with output shaft an adapter. I don't have to change transfer case, drive shafts, or shifting controls I have 12inches from water pump to radiator so lots of room there. There will be a few other things to do like rad. hoses PS hose little stuff
