Gathering info for when i do my 350 engine build. As some of us know i deleted my 4x4 on my s10 blazer. no more front diff,cv axles,front driveshaft,even removed the 4x4 selectors inside. It has a 700r4 with the np233 tcase. im on a build budget,but found a guy locally that sells rebuild 350 turbos for 400 bucks. Hes a retired transmission mechanic of 40 something years,So i think i would trust his builds. Id like to keep my 700r4,but a simple rebuild runs 1200-1500.00 here for one. Well question i have for you guys is can i remove the 700r4,put in a 4x4 350 turbo and will the np233 tcase hook up to it with no problems? Im not sure if the 4x4 350 trans had long tail and short tails like the 2wd or if they had just 1 size,so im not sure on my driveshaft yet. hopefully it'll fit.
