Just Purchased a Blazer - Problems
Hello all, I recently bought a 1995 4.3L Vortech 4x4 2 Door Blazer with 324km as a project truck, and wanted to list things I have noticed.
Whine;
I have a whine, im not sure whats causing it. It sounds like its comming from lower motor passenger side. It starts mostly in gear but sometimes does it in park. Not sure if its related but it lags when turning over, and when turning things on and of like the heater fan my amps drop.
Squeeking;
I suspect this is my serpentine belt, gonna take it off to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and see if my whine is a pully related event.
Popping;
I am assuming its my ball joint, when I turn too far in either direction.
Steering;
The steering wheel seems really loose, not sure if this is also ball joint related, fluids are good.
Radiator;
Now this is a wierd one. I know I have a leak but its only if the preassure goes above 325 and then it pisses by a small pipe upper radiator driver side, so as a temp fix I used 1 bottle of the Prestone stop leak. So far so good. But if I am gonna replace this. Should I go Electric or stay clutch.
As a final question, what else should i be looking for?
