I was planning on replacing the fuel filter as part of getting an S10 Blazer going again that's been sitting for years. I knew there was a filter in the inlet fitting in the carburetor and bought the replacement. I used my flair nut wrench to get the fuel line off and started to unscrew the inlet when I realized that the fuel line was in the way and couldn't be moved out of the way. Are the only options to remove the carburetor or remove the fuel line from the fuel pump just to replace the fuel filter??
That does appear to be the only fuel filter on this Blazer. I've read that some had an additional in-line filter down under the power steering pump, but this one doesn't have that. I followed the lines all the way back to the fuel tank. No other filter.
So what's the easiest way to replace this fuel filter?
