I recently purchased this K5 to restore. She is decent condition, however, occasionally she runs from 210 to 220 or higher. The other day the radiator was emitting steam from the driver side rubber radiator hose. However, the radiator is full of coolant. Any ideas? Thanks for the help in advance.

 

Also the radiator looks on the driver side to having some erosion of some sort but it does not leak... Very peculiar.

 

I also get a bit of squeal at start up, thinking maybe fan clutch bearings going out? Any ideas?

 

could be water pump getting weak
