'89 S10 4.3 Blazer (cold) air intake?
I've been looking around and cant seem to get a straight answer on what air intake to best compliment my muffler.
I ended up getting a Flow FX muffler and replacing my old CAT converter, I know I need to add some sort of air Intake to to really get much benefit from a new muffler like that, my question is what kind? I'm looking to both increase gas mileage and power, if I had to pick one of the two to improve on though, I'd pick power over mileage.
can someone point me in the right direction as to where to look or let me know what you've done to yours?
thanks.

From following some of the threads here, a cold-air intake (CAI) really doesn't help much since the air supply for the stock arrangement comes from in front of the frame the holds the radiator.
A member hear posted on the beneficial effects of insulating the top of the air-filter box and the hose that connects it to the engine using reflective insulating tape. Without that, the air gets warmed up anyway by the air duct being heated by the engine and exhaust system.

You would likely have as much chance of finding it as I would from the forum posts. Although I think it was posted within the last 6-12 months.
There is a chance I printed a pdf of it. If I did , I'll post it.
