91 S-10 Blazer Stalls out when turning left
Hi everyone, I've recently encountered some problems with my 91 S-10 Blazer. It sporadically stalls out when I put it in reverse, turn left, or when I slow down to come to a halt. When this does occur the check engine light comes on and the oil gauge drops. I've also been noticing that the car won't always accelerate at a constantly increasing pace. Sometimes I have to "floor" the accelerator to get the car to increase speed, while this happens I've been hearing "popping" noises from the engine.
Here are some of my cars specs:
1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer
4.3 L
6 cylinder
4x4
131000 miles
Any and all help is much appreciated and welcome...
I'm still very much a noob to DIY work on your car, so please be patient. I love this car and want to keep it running forever with out spending a$$tons of money...

im just throwing this out there, but some vehicles cut out if oil pressure is too low, 2nd gens dont do this (or at least my 98) but im unsure about 1st gens.
the bogging out at speed could be a clogged cat/fuel filter
just some idea's

thanks blazinloud...during driving i find that the accelerating problem only occurs near or after 60 mph, so it could be the fuel injector and or fuel pump. as for the stalling i believe you're right as it's the fuel pump. gonna replace it...thanks.
