Default 94 Blazer K1500 sluggish and shudders when accelerating from stop.

Hi All,

Hoping someone has some new insight about this intermittent problem. When starting and driving first thing in the morning, my '94 Blazer drives fine. After driving for longer, it has a problem when coming to a stop. Accelerating after a stop causes the truck to shudder and have very low power. Sometimes I have to floor the pedal to get it to move. No diagnostic codes come up except an intermittent code 35 (idle air control), but it goes away after accelerating. The shop also noticed that the timing seems to shift after being reset to 0TDC. This suggests maybe the distributor itself is moving. I'm attaching the diagnostic report in the hopes someone can point me in the right direction. I had full tune up last year (cap, rotor, plugs, wires) and it was driving great then. Also EGR valve was replaced.

Thanks.
Joe

My mechanic changed the ECM and all the issues were cleared up.

Nice.

So was it the timing being off that was the problem?

I had a 94 Suburban that started acting up and ECM was the issue too.
