I have a 1994 CHEVY S10 BLAZER with a 4.3 vortek engine. iT HAS FUEL PRESSURE, SPARK BUT WILL not stay running. Once it dies I have to let it sit from 2 hours to 2 weeks before it will start.

 

Try giving it a full tuneup. Plugs, wires, coil, and ignition control module. See if that helps.

 

my 91 is having an issue like that except sometimes it will run...like when it's cold until it gets up to running temp then it starts cutting out. But I only have to let it sit until it cools back down. My friends husband (and my hero:-) hooked up test thing to computer and the codes came back for map sensor and O2 sensor. I'm gonna get the parts today and I'll let ya know tomorrow if it fixed the problem.
