ok i have a 95 blazer everytime i start the engine it sputters erratically and shut itself off the day before i had it at midas cause of a misfire in cyl. 4 they corrected it by put a new i dk what its called but its a round piece with teeth on it on the disturbator when i got the blazer back it started sputtering and shuting off on me after i leave it sit its starts fine wen i rev it it sputters and stalls out i have no clue whats wrong im thinkin maybe its sumthin w the cap and rotor can anyone help me plz

 

Um do a fuel pressure test, check the coil and the module, other than that Dunno?

 

will do im doin the cap and rotor tommorow maybe thats it if not ill do the module then the coil

 

azcardinals80 did it work? Did you install a cap and rotor?

 

Azcardinals80 sounds like you have idle air control valve acting up maybe ? Or trottle bore control,get to a junkyard and obtain the parts or buy em new, i had same problem and it was trottle related ,changed the parts near trottle intake and engine smootened out instantly,good luck ,jim
