i have a 95 blazer just sittin in the grass and i need some help.. the transmission is out.. so im thinkin about throwin a 350 in it.. ive got a buddy that says he can get me cheap parts.. oh yeah i have about a 4000 budget to get it back on the road... but here is my dalima... my buddy thinks we can get it done for about 3 grand an dit b puttin out about 350hp which sounds amazing to me seein as how im drivin around a 185hp 2000 malibu while my baby is broke... but i got to readin on here and im kinda likin the idea of just havin the tranny rebuilt and put a new cam, intake, and throwin a stroker kit in there to top it off.... as long as i can get about 350 outta the v6 for about the same price as the 350 swap id b alot happier to do that.... wat do yall think i should do?

 

either way youll have a lot of horsepower, but the v6 will never match the v8 as far as torque goes. which is what really matters when you have to pull something heavy or haul *** off the line

 

thats true and i got to talkin to my buddy thats gonna help do the v8 and he has an uncle that owns a local parts shop and hell b able to get me parts for dirt cheap so ill b able to do more then just a swap so far squeezed into the budget is a transmission rebuild borin it out 30 a pro street torque converter and we might b lookin at redoin both the rear end and front end.... pretty excited.. were just gettin everything planned out and gettin all the parts right now but as soon as work start (which prolly wont b till bout feb.. its cold) ill start throwin pics up
